Keeping Connected collects and uses the personal information you provide through the Website in order to communicate with you and send you relevant information and materials to provide you with individual, couple, marriage and/or sex therapy and counselling. By providing Keeping Connected with your personal information through the Website, you have granted Keeping Connected permission to use your personal information for such use.
You may revoke the permission you have granted to use your personal information by contacting Keeping Connected and requesting that you no longer be contacted. Please note that if you revoke your permission you may not be able to continue to receive individual, couple, marriage and/or sex therapy and counselling.
If you believe you have received an unwanted or unsolicited communication from Keeping Connected, please contact Keeping Connected and advise that this has occurred.
In the event that Keeping Connected is providing couple, marriage and/or sex therapy to both you and your partner, you agree that your personal information may be disclosed to your partner.
Keeping Connected will not, without your explicit consent, disclose or share your personal information to other persons except as may be required to provide you with individual, couple, marriage and/or sex therapy and counselling services or as otherwise applicable by law. In the event that Keeping Connected is providing therapy and counselling services to both you and your partner, Keeping Connected will not disclose or share your personal information to other persons (except as may be required) without both your and your partner’s explicit consent.
In some circumstances, Keeping Connected has a legal responsibility to notify the appropriate authorities and may be required to provide the appropriate authorities with your personal information. These include (i) when Keeping Connected assesses that you may be a danger to yourself or others; and (ii) where the law requires disclosure, such as in suspicion of child abuse or by court order.
Keeping Connected maintains a variety of physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information.
